Wool was historically the most important and widespread of Wales's industries. The picturesque village of Dre-fach Felindre in the beautiful Teifi valley was once the centre of a thriving woollen industry, earning the nickname 'The Huddersfield of Wales'.
CURTAIN OF POPPIES

To mark the centenary of the end of the First World War, visit our community textile installation of 70,000 poppies to commemorate each person from the UK who died serving their country.

Learn how to make blues with the ancient dye WOAD. You will dye fabric and yarn with the opportunity to create a unique silk scarf. Woad seeds available. Plant for this year.
